Some of the big summer moves are beginning to take place amongst some of the giants of world football.

James Rodríguez → Napoli

The Colombian’s two-year loan deal has ended with Bayern Munich and parent club Real Madrid see no use for the man they signed following a dazzling 2014 World Cup. Napoli appear the only suitors with Sky Italia reporting it a →done deal for a fee somewhere around €40 million, with the first year being a loan. James will reunite with manager Carlo Ancelotti, whom he played under at both Real Madrid and Bayern.

Joāo Félix →  Atlético Madrid

The young Portuguese superstar is set for a move to the Spanish giants for a €120 million fee, making him the fifth most expensive player of all time and the second most expensive teenager behind Kylian Mbappe (€180 milliion). Felix will replace the departing Antoine Griezmann who decided to leave the club after five years.

Antoine Griezmann →  Barcelona →  Paris Saint-Germain AND Neymar →  Barcelona

Confused? We don’t blame you. Barcelona will look to bring Neymar back to the club at the request of Lionel Messi. However, they are also expected to sign Antione Griezmann from Atlético Madrid who has already agreed terms including a salary cut. The Blaugrana will then discuss the possibility of transferring the pre-arrangement with Griezmann to PSG in order to sign Neymar. Take a breath.

Rodri and Joāo Cancelo →  Manchester City

Rodri will join City after they decided to pay his €70 million release clause. Details of his contract have not been revealed but Rodri will no doubt be a handy addition to Pep Guardiola’s midfield. City have also opened talks with Juventus right-back Joāo Cancelo, hoping to spend around €45 million, while the Italians believe value to be closer to €60 million.

Adrien Rabiot →  Juventus

With his current deal at Paris Saint-Germain set to expire at the end of June, Rabiot is expected to sign on a free with Serie A champions Juventus. The deal is reportedly five years which will see him in Turin until June 2024.

Juan Mata →  Manchester United

Mata was initially linked with a move away from Old Trafford, however he is expected to sign a new three-year deal which could be announced imminently. Mata arrived at United in January 2014 from rivals Chelsea for £37.5 million.
