Manchester United could offer Paul Pogba a new £500,000 a week contract in an attempt to keep their star midfielder at the club.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from the Red Devils, with Real Madrid and former side Juventus reportedly the two clubs interested.

The Frenchman hinted that he may leave Old Trafford this summer, admitting that “it might be time for a new challenge”.

However, United are desperate to keep Pogba who has spent the past three seasons in Manchester and has two more to run on his current contract.

Real Madrid have already made a bid for his services somewhere around the £90 million mark, while Juventus are reportedly weighing up a bid also in that range.

It is not going to satisfy United though who have slapped a £150 million price-tag on Pogba.

With neither Real nor Juventus likely willing to spend that much, months of negotiations may await to determine Pogba’s future.
