Ernesto Valverde is not celebrating just yet despite the likelihood of his side wrapping up the La Liga title this week.
Barcelona are nine points clear in first place and can clinch the title with a win against Levante at the Camp Nou.
Valverde, however, stayed calm when asked how his side are going to celebrate winning the title.
“Let’s leave the question on standby,” he said.
“I would love that question after a couple more games. But now, it’s absurd.
“Let’s win tomorrow and then we will worry about how to celebrate, if there is something to celebrate.”
Barcelona have been in scintillating form domestically this season, scoring 85 goals – 26 more than the next best– and conceding just 32.
No other team has been able to match the Blaugrana, including usual contenders Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, who sit second and third respectively.
Barça should have no trouble in securing their second consecutive title this weekend, however they will do so with one eye on their UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool.
Valverde’s men will welcome the Reds next week in a blockbuster semi-final first leg, aiming to reach the final for the first time since 2015.
If they succeed, Barcelona will be on track for another treble, a feat which they also achieved in 2015.
