Josh Parish is a regular on the FNR airwaves, as a host of Aussies Abroad (7pm Mondays), The National Curriculum (6pm Wednesdays), Breakfast on FNR (8am Thursdays) and The Lightning Round (9am Fridays). During the NPL season, you’ll also hear Josh talking all things Preston Lions on The Lion’s Den (8pm Thursdays), and chiming in as Panel Operator on The Knight Train, the Geelong Region Soccer Show, and Football Out West.

In addition to his role on air, Josh works behind the scenes as FNR’s production coordinator, and writes articles and opinion pieces for the station’s website. He has risen through the ranks at FNR since joining as a production intern in October 2017.

Josh has been involved in local football and futsal for over ten years as a player, referee, and volunteer coach. He is an avid follower of the A-League, having supported Melbourne Victory since the competition was formed, and is a commentator for NPL Victoria. Despite considerable evidence to the contrary, he still maintains that Lucas Neil’s sliding challenge on Fabio Grosso was never a penalty.

Josh is particularly passionate about radio and podcasting. In addition to FNR, he is a member of SYN Media, and co-hosted the All Day Breakfast on SYN 90.7FM, which was nominated for ‘Best Seasonal Program’ at the 2017-18 SYN Awards.
