Brisbane Roar have announced the departure of Adam Taggart to an un-named Asian club.

The forward, who has scored 11 goals in 18 games this season has agreed to a deal which will see him move to Asia, pending medical clearance.

“Adam has been a good servant for Brisbane Roar since his arrival and we wish him well with the next step in his career,” said Brisbane Roar Football Club Chief Executive Officer David Pourre.

Taggart wished the struggling Queensland side all the best in turning around their languishing fortunes this season.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the club, players, coaches and fans for their support during my time,” Taggart said.

“I’m confident that the club can turn things around and have more success in the future.”
